After working many years in High Tech, I have retired. So I felt it was time to reopen Sky Vision Kites. I am going to initially offer the same kites I offered back in 90’s however updated to more modern construction techniques. Some kites the Flash Point (or 3/4 Flash Fire) and Radix I have changed sail pattern and shape. Currently I plan to offer the Ember, Ensemble and Free Spirit II. The Ember is a great starter kite, or 3/4 kite for fun flying. The Ensemble is a great second (or even first kite), offering easy flying, wide wind range and either precision or trick kite in one. For trick flying there is the Free Spirit II, this is such a great kite I decided not to change it at all, other then using hook and loop for sail tensioning instead of nock.
The Flash Point is now called Ember and the paneling and trailing edge have been changed.
Flash Point or 3/4 Flash Fire
The original Flash Point had a very simple paneling. While nice I thought it would look better with a more complex pattern.
The new version called Ember offers a curved trailing edge along with hook and loop spine tensioner.
Radix
This is a great kite with very wide wind range due to it’s large sail area. It also feature an active bridle allowing responsive either a team kite or trick kite in one.
The new version called the Ensemble feature a leach line in trailing edge to quiet noise during flying. The trailing edge has been changed a bit. It still overs an active bridle to allow the kite to perform as either team or trick kite.
Free Spirit II
Very little is changed in this kite. It is offered in same color patterns and paneling as original. It offers the same performance. Making it good for tricks or precision flying.
Expression and Magic
I am currently not going to offer these kites until later this summer. I plan to change colors of patterns on these kites. Also the Expression will be losing it’s winglets. The same applies to the wrapped graphite and ultralight versions of Ensemble and Free Spirit II. If you want one of these contact me via email and I will give you pricing.
